Do we need an instructor?
Not at all! Our party packs are crafted for a DIY art adventure, so there's no need for a pricey instructor. Our videos, hosted by a skilled artist, guide you through all the tips and tricks to nail your masterpiece. Plus, you'll get step-by-step instructions with clear photos for that extra dose of guidance! 🎨🚀
I haven't painted before, where should I start?
New to the canvas party? No worries! All our artworks are for TOTAL beginners, making any painting experience a breeze. We'll groove through the paint mixing together and show you the best spots to splash your creativity. Still worried? Check out our 'Total Beginners' collection - curated for nervous newbies!
How long does it take for a Party Pack order to arrive?
Our awesome team of paint packing perfectionists ship from our warehouse in the South Coast, NSW every weekday (excl. public holidays). While we are always going the extra mile to get your kits sent in the next pickup (we're as excited for you to start painting as you are!) during big sales events please allow 2-4 business days for dispatch as we're only human!
Actual postage can take 2 - 10 business days, depending on your spot on the map. Australia Post always likes to keep us on our toes, especially during busy seasons like October - December. How long does it take to receive my video?
We've worked some magic and now our videos come with your painting pack. Voodoo? I think not. We've simply harnessed the power of QR codes to make your painting experience as seamless as possible. Scan it. Watch it, Paint it. Bippity, boppity, boo!
How do I access my video?
You will have a QR code on the 3rd page of your instruction booklet that is in your kit. You will have lifetime access to your video and be able to stream it as many times as you like. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to download the video but can stream it from any device with an internet connection.
Will I receive tracking for my order?
Absolutely! We use Australia Post as our domestic delivery partner so you will receive tracking updates once your shipping details have been raised with them.
What if my paint feels quite thick?
Different factors like humidity and temperature can affect the consistency of your paint. Acrylic paint is water based so a couple of drops of water can loosen this consistency - just add a couple of drops to the pile of paint and mix it until it's smooth.
What if I run out of paint?
Your party pack has more than enough paint to complete your artwork on the canvas size provided. But if you're painting on a larger size canvas, you may run out. In which case, you can use the paint colours listed on your instructions to purchase more of the colours you require.
How long does it take to complete an artwork?
Alright, buckle up for an artistic joyride! Our masterpieces are crafted for a thrilling 2-3 hour escapade. Want to add some extra flair? Go for it! Whether you're speeding through or savouring every stroke, rest assured - these creations are designed to be conqured in a single, 'time-flies-when-you're-painting' sitting 🎨⏰
How long does it take for my artwork to dry?
Our packs contain water-based acrylic paint, dry to the touch in 5-10 minutes. But if you go all out with clumpy sections or a thick epic paint layer, it might need a bit more time.
Can I change or cancel my order?
We kick into high gear the second your order lands so we can process your pack in record time for speedy delivery! Since we move like a well-oiled paintbrush (is that a thing??), changes or cancellations might be a bit tricky once your order joins the party. Take a moment to double-check all the deets before hitting that order button. If you do spot a hiccup, give us a shout ASAP and we'll see what magic we can conjure!
What if I receive the wrong item, or my pack contents are damaged?
Eek! If things go awry, we're genuinely sorry about the creative chaos! Shoot us an email at hello@partyinapaintbox.com.au, toss in your order number and snap a quick pic of the issue for us.
We'll handle the hiccup, cover the cost to fix it for you and make sure the right masterpiece makes its way to your door. We're only human and sometimes the paintbrush takes an unexpected turn. Thanks a bunch for being so understanding! 🎨🤗
